Understanding Blepharitis and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD)
MGD and blepharitis can cause intermittent blurry vision. MGD generally doesn't harm vision. Blepharitis can be more severe but typically doesn't affect vision unless it inflames the cornea, potentially leading to infections, ulcers, scars, or abnormal blood vessels, which can result in significant blurry vision.
