With the emergence of new treatment options to slow progression of geographic atrophy (GA) in age-related macular degeneration (AMD), it is critical that optometrists in all practice settings have an appropriate level of understanding of this devastating disease. This course will review the natural history of GA, multi-modal imaging techniques, and strategies to manage and co-manage these patients.
