How To Talk To Your Patient With Ocular Surface and Lid Disease

This course will discuss communication strategies and techniques to improve effective communication with patients suffering from dry eye syndrome and blepharitis. The techniques are focusing on improving patient understanding of the disease, treatment adherence, and management of expectations.

Almost 1600 attended our event and we received amazing feedback!

Feedback from anonymous survey:

  • What an amazing topic to discuss in a compassionate way. It’s great to hear CE revolving on how to be caring humans. We get focused on taking care of their physical health and less about how we can influence their mental health in such an impactful way.

  • I liked “the help “phrases!

  • Great reminders on how to treat patients and staff.

  • Excellent presentation especially listening to our patients!!!

  • Great communication advice (long forgotten information).

  • Great speaker. I do feel I already attempt these strategies

  • Please have this speaker back for more talks on communication!

  • Amazing motivational speaker . He gave such inspiring pointers.

  • Refreshingly different CE & so helpful.

  • Thanks for all the great tips Dr. Allen!

  • Outstanding presentation; great information that can be utilized in clinic tomorrow.
