In our recent Woo U webinar titled “Visual Fields, Glaucoma and Beyond”, Dr. John McSoley delivered an inciteful presentation on all-things visual field for various ocular diseases. A few of the many great points we learned were:

  • Test variability AND sensitivity decreases with longer test duration and more eccentricity.

  • Structure and function should always correlate.

  • Providing patients with positive reinforcement and encouragement may help patients improve their performance and provide more reliable test results.
