Learn from Dr. Stewart's Woo’s Wisdom for Dr Rodman’s webinar- Diseases of the Vitreomacular Interface and Macula.
She first started by reviewing the anatomy of the vitreous and discussed the changes we see in the aging of the vitreous.
First, she talked about normal changes when the vitreous behaves. This included the stages of a PVD, and when to reexamine or refer. She then discussed the diagnosis, treatment, and management of an anomalous PVD, including epiretinal membrane, vitreomacular traction, full-thickness macular hole, and partial thickness hole. We learned how to monitor, and reexamine these patients, what to look for, and when to refer them.
