This fascinating 2 hour presentation started off by discussing optometry’s opportunity with anti-oxidants, gut health and skin/ inside collagen. They also discussed the difference between life span and health span, and what that means to our patients, as well as the difference between allopathic and integrative medicine.

They wove cases in with clinical pearls and clinical data for measuring carotenoids, the results of oxidative stress on the body, and the importance of genetics and gene expression.

This was a fantastic discussion with lots of viewer participation.
