Phase 2 - Creating the Algorithm

 
 

ABOUT CLOSE:

CLOSE was created to provide a path for ocular surface management into practice.  This year long program will provide the support for the practitioner interested in actively incorporating dry eye disease diagnostic and management strategies in their practice.

Surveys will be sent out on the diagnostics and incorporation of strategies from Phase 1.

A logical diagnostic algorithm will be created based on the data collected from the surveys.

  • Algorithms will include differentials, such as evaporative, aqueous, etc

    • What is currently being done with collected information?

    • When are you seeing patients back for follow up visits?

    • What is being seen on follow up visits?

Important notice: Continuing Education (CE) will not be offered for this initiative. This is intended for clinicians who want to change the trajectory of their practice by enhancing patient outcomes.
