She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society, and a member of the California Optometric Association. She is a regular contributor to Contact Lenses Today and Contact Lens Spectrum, and publishes frequently in ophthalmic journals. She was named one of America’s Best Eye Doctors in 2021 by Newsweek and GP Practitioner of the year by the Gas Permeable Lens Institute in 2023.

Dr. Sindt is the chief clinical editor for Review of Optometry and has served as associate editor for Review of Cornea and Contact Lens, an Optometry Times editorial advisory board member, and as a contributing editor for Contact Lens Spectrum. She also serves a peer reviewer for several ophthalmologic journals.

Dr. Sorkin earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He has received multiple clinical honors and has participated in many contact lens related studies. He lectures extensively throughout the country and internationally on contact lenses, dry eyes, ocular allergies, ocular therapeutics and corneal disease. He has a special interest in difficult to fit contact lens patients, such as those with keratoconus and post surgical cases and manages many patients with complex anterior segment conditions.

Suzanne Walter Sherman, OD, FAAO, FSLS, is Assistant Professor of Optometric Sciences (in Ophthalmology), Director of Optometric Services at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She specializes in complex and medically necessary contact lens fittings, anterior segment disease and primary care.

Dr. John D. Gelles, is the director of the specialty contact lens division of the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute, P.A. in Teaneck, NJ. He is a Specialty Contact Lens provider and PROSE Clinical Fellow. Dr. Gelles is a world renowned expert in specialty contact lens design, fitting, and management. Patients travel to our institute from all over the world for treatment due to his excellence in and dedication to the field of specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Williams is a DFW native that has lived in this area for the majority of his life. Dr. Williams received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas Tech University and then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. While in optometry school, Dr. Williams was heavily involved in many student organizations. He held leadership positions in the Student Optometric Practice Management Association (SOPMA) and American Optometric Student Association (AOSA). He also earned several clinical achievements including the Excellence in Primary Care Award for the Class of 2018 and was inducted into the Golden Key Society for distinguished student leaders in optometry.

Dr. Marcus Noyes, OD is an optometrist in Iowa City, IA. They currently practice at University of Iowa Hospital and are affiliated with University Of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Noyes accepts multiple insurance plans.

Dr. Melanie Frogozo is an optometrist at Alamo Eye Care in San Antonio, Texas. She is a Diplomate in the Cornea, Contact Lens, and Refractive Technologies section of the American Academy of Optometry. This is among the highest honors in her profession, which places her in a highly elite group of internationally recognized doctors who make contact lenses a focus of their practice. Her contact lens expertise is unmatched in the Texas Hill Country. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society and a member of the American Optometry Association, Texas Optometry Association, and the Ocular Nutrition Society.

Dr. Sonsino studied at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where he graduated with research honors. He had the opportunity to spend time at and complete a research poster at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. Afterward, he completed a highly competitive one-year residency in cornea and contact lenses at Illinois College of Optometry. In Chicago, he worked mainly with the optometrist and ophthalmologists at the prestigious, University of Chicago Medical Center seeing patients with severe corneal diseases. One highlight of his experience there was super-gluing a patient’s cornea closed to save his vision.

Dr Jedlicka is a Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Optometry, and the Director of the Cornea and Contact Lens Service. He is a Diplomate in the American Academy of Optometry's Cornea, Contact Lens, and Refractive Technologies Section, a past President of the Scleral Lens Education Society, and a Fellow and board member of the Contact Lens Society of America. He has contributed to multiple textbooks as an author on the topic of GP lenses. He was awarded the GPLI practitioner of the year award for 2021, and the Scleral Lens Education Society Scleral Practitioner of the Year for 2023.
