Learn more about Glaucoma with Dr. Thimons

Learn from Dr. Jennifer Stewart’s Woo’s Wisdom from Dr Jim Thimons presentation, Prostaglandins, the Paradigm in Glaucoma Therapy. He first discussed risk factors for glaucoma, what is the role of IOP in glaucoma, and mentioned that normal IOP does not exclude glaucoma. He then went through different glaucoma risk predictors and the importance of corneal hysteresis.

Lastly, he reviewed current glaucoma treatment options and studies, preserved vs non-preserved drugs, and shared tips on increasing compliance with prostaglandins.
