Woo University’s fifth annual Dry Eye in the Desert hybrid event proved to be a tremendous success, drawing widespread praise for its thoughtfully curated content and innovative format. This year’s event featured a dynamic lineup of unique and engaging courses, all centered around the increasingly important topic of dry eye disease. Leading experts from across the eye care industry gathered to share cutting-edge clinical pearls, research updates, and practical insights that enriched the knowledge base of both seasoned professionals and emerging practitioners.
The event’s hybrid format offered the best of both worlds—an in-person experience in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, which fostered intimate dialogue, networking opportunities, and face-to-face collaboration, as well as a highly accessible virtual component via Zoom platform. This dual approach ensured that participants from around the country—and even internationally—could benefit from the event’s educational value, regardless of location.
With its commitment to excellence and innovation in dry eye education, Dry Eye in the Desert continues to raise the bar for clinical learning and community engagement in optometry and ophthalmology.
